Photo Upload Instructions

This upload page provides visitors to the site an easy way to upload a photo file for consideration. If you stumbled on this page inadvertently, please go somewhere else -- it isn't for you. There is a 2MB file size limit, and the files must be JPEG or JPG or GIF images (not PNG, or BMP, etc). Image size should be minimum 400 pixels wide and 400 pixels height, or higher. Follow these steps: Note 1: Large files will take awhile, please be patient. Large is actually good, as it gives us plenty to work with in editing. Note 2: You won't be able to see the file after you upload it, as it is stored in a write-only directory until we can review it, possibly crop and/or resize it, and then add it to the photo rotation. Note 3: Your photo must pass our "suitability" and quality filters. Note 4: Photos should be perfectly framed, lighted and focused. Great scenery or road shots (ideally with a motorcycle in them somewhere) are also good. If the photo is an "interesting" one, then the quality can be a bit lower, we'll just have to spend more time tweaking it. Note 5: By uploading photos here you are implicitly certifying that you own or hold the copyright on said photos. Photos stolen or copied from some other Website are not okay, please don't submit any. We don't want to infringe any copyrights...
